atlanta loft

When Makehouse Interiors co-founder Courtney Favini relocated to Atlanta for a year of filming, she set out to find a short-term rental she could truly make her own. She landed on a loft in Cabbagetown, where the landlords welcomed her creative vision. Courtney completely reimagined what had been a standard, cookie-cutter space, transforming it into a chic pied-à-terre filled with personality—complete with a vintage island she sourced at an antique salvage, statement lighting, a Smeg refrigerator, distinctive open shelving to display her collection of vintage plates and treasures, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that bathed the space in natural light.

Although Courtney only lived in the loft for a year, her rental company chose to keep the space exactly as she designed it—raising the rent for the next tenants and proudly highlighting that it had been thoughtfully crafted with artistry and care.
