A historic post office turned couples getaway

Vacant for years, the 1800 House was a historic shell waiting for purpose. We renovated it top to bottom—rebuilding the layout, adding modern systems, and installing a chef’s kitchen and spa-like bath—then furnished it with antiques and thoughtfully layered details to create a boutique Finger Lakes retreat.

Design highlights

spa-like amenities

  • A vintage clawfoot tub offers a unique, luxe amenity that offers guests an antique vibe fitting with the age of the home.

  • A Moroccan shower fixture in unlaquered brass that patinas as it ages, layering in both texture and a unique piece of hardware.

best in class bedding

  • We’ve painstakingly researched the best linens, built for guest comfort and durability.

durable furnishings

  • With years of experience in the short term rental space, we select fabrics and materials made to patina and stand the test of time.

  • We select natural materials whenever possible. From guest allergies to washability, we find that non-synthetic materials create spaces that feel clean and safe for the environment.
